On November 16th, the Shizuoka Prefecture Science and Technology Promotion Award was held at the Shizuoka Prefectural Office, and Yoshio Takagi, General Manager of the Manufacturing Development Department of our company, received the Shizuoka Prefecture Science and Technology Promotion Governor’s Award for “Excellent Invention Creator”. It is an award for those who have achieved excellent results such as improving the technical level of the prefecture through excellent inventions and ideas. This time, he was evaluated for our inventions and research and development activities related to the “method for manufacturing aluminum alloy matrix composite materials”.

Various aluminum alloy-based Metal Matrix Composites (MMCs), manufactured by our Squeeze Casting method, have characteristics such as light weight, high strength, high heat dissipation, and low expansion. We will continue to research and develop MMCs with new characteristics and manufacture them to contribute to our society.
